Spring & fall cleanups — the questions.

When should a fall cleanup happen?

After most of the leaves are down but before the ground freezes or the first heavy snow sits on them. In this area that is usually late October into November, and it moves every year.

Do you take the leaves away?

Yes. Everything gets loaded and hauled off the property. We do not pile it at the back of the lot and call it done.

Is one cleanup enough in autumn?

On a property with mature trees, often not. Big canopies drop in waves, so some properties want two visits: a first pass and a final clean-off before winter.

What does a spring cleanup cover?

Winter debris off the lawn and out of the beds, cutting back anything left standing, re-cutting the bed edges and the first mow. It is the reset before mulch goes down.
