Landscaping in Cayuga Heights, NY.
Established yards and mature trees just north of the city.
Built, then kept up.
Cayuga Heights is the village just north of Ithaca, above the east shore of Cayuga Lake. VP Designs Lawn & Landscape takes care of Cayuga Heights properties with landscape design and installation, mulch and garden beds, lawn mowing and trimming, spring and fall cleanups, gutter cleaning and snow removal.
Many of the homes here have established gardens that need keeping up rather than starting over. We edge and mulch the beds, cut back what has outgrown its place, and keep the lawn and walks tidy through the season.
Mature trees and established gardens
Big, old trees are a large part of what makes the village what it is, and they shed a lot. Fall leaf drop buries lawns and beds and fills gutters, and a clogged gutter spills right where the foundation and the planting beds are. A fall cleanup and a gutter cleanout together take care of both.
Deer are also a fact of life in Cayuga Heights, and they shape what survives in a planting bed. When we design or refresh beds, we talk through what has done well on your property and what has not before anything goes in the ground.
One crew, the whole property.
Cayuga Heights, the questions.
Do you work in Cayuga Heights?
Yes. Cayuga Heights is on our list of towns around Ithaca. Call or text (607) 592-5505 for a free estimate.
Can you refresh garden beds that are already planted?
Yes. We edge the beds, clear them out, cut back overgrowth and lay fresh mulch, keeping the plants that are doing well.
Do you clean gutters as part of a fall cleanup?
We can. Gutters and downspouts are cleared and flushed, and the debris is bagged and hauled, not left in the beds.
